Danat Al Ain Resort opened its doors in January after a re-branding from the InterContinental Al Ain Resort, making it the sixth property to be managed by Danat Hotels and Resorts.
Owned by the National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCT&H), Danat Al Ain Resort is a luxury property that general manager Ahmed Margoushy said would ‘maintain the same caliber in terms of providing comfort to the visitors with its services and hospitalities’ as the InterContinental Al Ain had done before it.
“Our launching campaign was designed especially to put our guests mind at ease, our slogan ‘Great New Name. Same Great Service’, was chosen after careful consideration. The level of service will [not change] just because the name has; on the contrary we are maintaining the same service and planning to upgrade it to a next level,” he added.
The company has announced plans to invest further in the property in the near future to ‘bring the hospitality level in the garden city Al Ain to a new level’, and compete with other properties in the city.
“Al Ain needs more [hotels],” Margoushy said, “and competition is part of the business which is healthy and should be there in order for one to progress.”
Margoushy added that the re-branding of the 30 year old property was a testament to the staff working there.
“It was a challenge to the entire team; however, passing through it successfully is a sign that proves that our team is of great experience within the field of hospitality,” he said.
Danat Hotels and Resorts is the hospitality management arm of the NCT&H.
