ATN: What were your impressions of Thailand?
It was an amazing experience we had with TAT Dubai in Thailand. Thailand is really a great destination. Like my own country, India the people in Thailand are friendly and treat with much respect the tourists visiting their country. For shopping and marketing we found that the people selling their products are very nice and there was no harassment.

ATN: Do you think Thailand would appeal to your clients?
This destination is really famous among the NRI’S [non-resident Indians] here in the UAE and I have been selling this destination for a long time. I am selling this destination to all my clients, relatives and friends. But now I have had a personal experience by visiting Thailand with the fam trip organised by the Dubai TAT office.

ATN: What for you was the highlight of the trip?
We visited some important places like the Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha temple, Canal tour, floating market, Central World, Siam Niramit for the Thai Cultural shows, Rose Garden, Shopping Mall and Coral Island by speed boat.

ATN: What were your impressions of the accommodation?
The accommodation was really great and extraordinary. We stayed in a separate room both in Bangkok and Pattaya. The rooms are comfortable and more spacious even for the family

ATN: What were your impressions of Thailand?
The destination was good, especially the food and the cultural shows. Bangkok would be popular for the Siam Niramit Show and for the shopping at the floating market. The main problem in Bangkok is the traffic. I like cultural shows the most in both in Bangkok and Pattaya. Pattaya has more natural beauty than Bangkok.

ATN: What for you was the highlight of the trip?
My highlight was the cultural shows and the shopping in both places. It’s a nice place to shop.

ATN: What were your impressions of the accommodation?
Siam Hotel is a bit far from the main city. It took a long time to reach the hotel from town. The shopping places are also far from the hotel. I liked Zing Hotel a lot. I wanted to stay there one more day to enjoy the view.

ATN: What was your experience of the Fam trip to Thailand?
The two destinations, Bangkok and Pattaya are well-known among Arab travellers and are widely popular among clients from this region. Being a member of this fam trip, we could experience these destinations ourselves and now we can give more personalised advice on Thailand.

ATN: Who would you sell this destination to?
It’s interesting to experience, this is a destination for all — families, bachelors, honeymooners. It’s up to us to brief the right things to clients.

ATN: What was the highlight of the trip?
All throughout our trip we experienced the warmth of Thai hospitality. Right from the moment we landed at the airport until we returned. All members of the group were relaxed and it was really painful to say goodbye to everyone!
