Margaux parts company from Alain Ducasse

Margaux restaurant in Souk Al Bahar has parted company from Michelin starred chef Alain Ducasse.

Ducasse, who previously consulted on the menu for Margaux, is no longer be involved in the restaurant — which launched a new look and menu in January this year.

AMZ Group assistant F&B Director Nick Hancock said: “Alain Ducasse is no longer involved with Margaux. We have a new concept now, and our executive chef Jason Oakley is responsible for the menu.”

“We have gone from fine dining to fun dining,” added Simon Robinson, F&B director, AMZ Group, “People are really enjoying the new look menu and we have lots of excellent feedback on it.”
