The AirAsia X D708 Charity Flight with Sir Richard Branson, which was scheduled to depart London Stansted for Kuala Lumpur on May 1, 2011, has been rescheduled to 4 July, 2011.
The company said the change was made “to help address the growing difficulty of obtaining accommodation in and flights into London brought about by the increase in the number of people visiting London over the long bank holiday weekend and Royal Wedding”.
The flight will now be rescheduled to depart London for Kuala Lumpur on 4 July 2011.

“The new date also provides guests with better access and comfort for travel into and within London,” the statement added.
Guests who have purchased tickets for the charity flight on AirAsiaGo.com will be given a full refund, or the option to transfer the booking to the new date.
