Dubai-based destination management company Arabian Incentive has opened a Bedouin-style desert camp in Ras Al Khaimah — giving visitors the chance to explore desert living.
“Our oasis is for everybody in the UAE. It is only 40 minutes away from Dubai and close to the other Emirates,” said Arabian Incentive executive manager Emanuela Petrelli.
“Guests from Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah don’t have to drive to Dubai anymore to explore and experience a prestigious evening in the desert,” she added.
The camp is now open to the public on Monday and Friday nights and pre-booking is mandatory. The camp is located about two kilometers away from Banyan Tree Hotel & Resort in Ras Al Khaimah (Emirates Road, Exit 119).
Zahed Dalati, operations manager for Arabian Incentive added: “We put a lot of dedication into the details when we built up the camp. We used only traditional material to make this experience unforgettable for our guests. The roofs of the tents are originally made out of goat hair and we use no electricity; only fire or antique gas lights.”
