Agents shine at Travelport Awards night

More than 250 travel agents attended Travelport’s awards night gala - an annual event which recognises the achievements of the GDS provider’s top performing travel agency customers in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Held at the Ritz Carlton DIFC on June 7, the local travel trade was entertained by an amazing musical and dance performance, followed by a raffle draw.

Lucky winners of an iPad 2 were Roopesh of Deira Travel and Tourist Agency and Khalid Abdul Aziz of Orient Travel, whilst Kamal Lilaramani from Deepak Travels walked away with a brand new Toshiba laptop.
