Emaar Hospitality Group, the wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai-based global property developer Emaar Properties, has said its CEO Marc Dardenne is leaving the company.
In a statement issued to HotelierMiddleEast.com, the company said Patrick Heuze, the current chief executive officer “will take over as chief executive officer”.
No details were given as to the reason for Dardenne’s departure.
Emaar Hospitality has rolled out The Address Hotels + Resorts, as well as the collaboration with Armani in the launch of the Armani Hotel Dubai, projects Dardenne was heavily involved in.
With total assets of development value US $1 billion (AED 3.67 billion), Emaar Hospitality owns and manages a diversified portfolio of hospitality assets such as hotels, serviced residences, golf resorts, Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club, recreation clubs, the Dubai Marina and associated yacht club.
