Absolute Hotel Services signs new Oman hotel

Bangkok-based Absolute Hotel Services will open the first property under its Eastin Residences brand in the Middle East in Muscat, Oman by the end of 2011.

Eastin Residences Muscat will comprise 50 residences featuring a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette.

Other facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant, rooftop swimming pool, fitness centre and open-air multi-cuisine restaurant. The property also offers two meeting rooms and promises free internet access for guests.

Absolute Hotel Services Group CEO Jonathan Wigley said: “This announcement of our further expansion to the Middle East is very exciting with our Eastin Residences brand and is the first of many soon to be announced.

“Eastin Residences Muscat offers full services and facilities that will provide value and flexibility to serve the needs of our customers for short and extended stays with personalised services, whether for business or pleasure — we promise to give our customers the best value for all occasions,” Wigley added.

Absolute Hotel Services, which has a Middle East office located in Doha, has also signed contracts to manage a U Hotels & Resorts branded property in Qatar, the U Le Mirage Doha.
