Luxury hotel operator Four Seasons has opened a 40-acre walled resort with 141 rooms and suites in the city of Marrakech.
The accommodation is designed to evoke a Moroccan medina, filled with riads connected by arcades, walkways and courtyards.
The hotel features two pools, one of which is adult-only, set within extensive gardens, a spa offering 15 treatment rooms and a Neroli Spa Pavilion for couples and spa guests seeking a more exclusive spa experience, and three restaurants — Solano – brasserie du Sud, Azzera Grill and Inara.
In October, an additional restaurant and rooftop lounge will open, Bleu d’Orange and Zest at Bleu d’Orange.
Families are catered for with a kids club called Kids For All Seasons and a Young Adult Centre.
General manager Jean Claude Wietzel said: “In a way, Four Seasons Hotel Marrakech is a destination unto itself – with so much space to explore and so many choices of activities, some guests may want to turn their stay into a resort-style holiday and never leave the property".
The hotel is entering the market with a series of promotions, including the Welcome Package, offering a spa credit and extended check-in/check-out time; Bed and Breakfast; and Shop Til You Drop, which includes a two-hour excursion to the souks with a private guide.
“In celebration of our grand opening, Four Seasons Hotel Marrakech is offering several value packages designed to introduce travellers to the city in a way they’ve never experienced before,” said Wietzel.
“Our event specialists are receiving a lot of inquiries for weddings, galas and corporate meetings in the Adgal Ballroom, and with five additional spaces plus the garden, spa and private dining options, Four Seasons Hotel Marrakech is ready to welcome them all,” he added.
