Five Ramadan iftars to try this week in Dubai

1. Asateer at Atlantis

Atlantis is honouring Ramadan with a spectacular beachfront tent, Asateer, offering eight dedicated majlis areas, prayer rooms and complimentary valet parking.

Overlooking the Arabian Gulf and The Palm, Asateer provides an ambience filled with traditional activities, including card games, chess and backgammon. Throughout the stunning design of the tent, guests will be entertained by Oud and Tableh players playing timeless Arabic favourites.

Guests can enjoy traditional foul moudammas and balila stations, as well as a wide variety of Ramadan fresh juices and new signature dishes including Asateer Assorted Manakish, Asateer Kenafah and a Tahina fountain.

During suhour, guests will be able to enjoy new continental dishes including the Asateer Beef Burger, calamari, a variety of Italian and Indian dishes and a mix of international desserts.

Asateer will offer a traditional Iftar buffet priced at AED 165 per person, inclusive of water and Ramadan juices and from 9pm, suhour will be offered.


2. Grand Iftar at Grand Hyatt

Grand Hyatt is celebrating iftar with the Grand Iftar buffet in the Al Ameera Ballroom. Delicacies on offer include traditional kunafa, hot and cold mezze, kushari, Basal and classic Arabic drinks.

The Grand Iftar buffet in the Al Ameera Ballroom is priced at AED 150 per person, including soft drinks; children aged between six and 12 enjoy a 50% discount and children under six dine for free.

Iftar is also being offered at the Laylati Café’s Ramadan tent, which presents an à la carte menu that offers mutabal, labneh, fatoush and fatayer sabaneg, as well as sujok and chicken makhanwala, Iranian mixed grill and various flavours of shisha.



3. Choices at Al Bustan Rotana

Al Bustan Rotana is offering a lavish daily iftar buffet at its popular Choices Restaurant. The buffet stretches from the restaurant through to the lobby and features a spread of of traditional dishes complete with Arabic sweets.

The buffet is priced at AED 145 per person including a refreshing selection of traditional Ramadan drinks.

For private parties, Al Bustan Rotana offers a special banquet Iftar package starting at AED 130 per guest, for a minimum of 30 persons.

 

4. Break fast at Bonnington

The Bonnington Hotel in Jumeirah Lakes Towers is offering an elaborate iftar buffet in its Cavendish restaurant, which will host a traditional Oud player who will play throughout the evening.

The buffet includes an array of Arabic delicacies, traditional sweets and iftar refreshments. Guests can feast on hot and cold mezzeh, salads and juicy meat and vegetable grills followed by a selection of mouthwatering desserts.


This buffet meal is priced at AED 145 per person, inclusive of all taxes and charges.



5. Staircase at Samaya


Samaya Hotel Deira is offering an extensive iftar buffet at the Staircase Restaurant for just AED 99 per person.


The iftar buffet will include a full range of traditional Arabic and Oriental dishes, Ramadan sweets, pastries and drinks.

Special rates are also available for small and large groups, corporate clients and employees.
