Pep Lozano named GM at new Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi

Pep Lozano has become the new general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal.

In his new role, Lozano will be responsible for all operations and sales, as well as guest and employee engagement, at the luxury hotel being developed by Abu Dhabi National Hotels.

Prior to his new appointment, Lozano helmed The Ritz-Carlton, Doha in Qatar, his first foray in the Middle East, as general manager from 2009.

A Ritz-Carlton veteran, Mr. Lozano has participated in the successful openings of various Ritz-Carlton properties around the world.

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal is expected to open at the end of 2011.
