A major shake-up in the Executive Committee which runs the Dubai Travel and Tour Agents Group (DTTAG) has resulted in the departure of two its long-serving members.
Mano Chandra Dhas, country manager, Al Shamel Travel and Mark Reed, general manger of Arabian Pacific, have been voted off the commitee this year after two years serving the group.
DTTAG has also announced the Majid Al Mulla, vice president, Dnata Travel has taken over as president following the resignation of Iain Andrew; and Edris Taher of Al Rais Travel also joins as a new member of the committee. Bill Horsley, general manager, Al Futtaim Travel who stood for the committee failed to get elected.
Leo Fewtrell, general manager, DTTAG thanked the two outgoing members, for their input and work for the DTTAG community over the past two years, particularly Dhas who he said has contributed much over the years.
