Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) has appointed Raman Khanna to head up its new restaurant division.

As director of restaurant operations, Khanna will be responsible for establishing the new restaurant division by introducing restaurant franchise agreements, setting up JVs with interested parties and creating F&B concepts.

Khanna has joined ADNH from Aldar Properties, where he started as hotel development manager and moved to be director of business development and commercial, during which time he successfully negotiated over 28 hotel management agreements on their behalf.

Prior to this, Khanna was director of catering and banquets for the Emirates Palace pre-opening team.

He commented: “It is a real honour to re-join ADNH, as my first UAE experience back in the 90’s was an executive chef position at Hilton Abu Dhabi where I truly can say I got to understand the essence of the UAE market approach after moving from the USA in 1994.

“I very much look forward to working with a great team of hospitality professionals in continuing to provide the remarkable services and the best of what the hospitality industry is yet to offer for which ADNH is internationally renowned."
