Ritz-Carlton's top man in the region has revealed that the international hotel chain is planning a second property in the Abu Dhabi.
Vice president of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Pascal Duchauffour, disclosed the move while speaking to Abu Dhabi-based newspaper, The National.
Ritz-Carlton's first hotel in Abu Dhabi, the Grand Canal is scheduled to open by the end of this year.
"We will potentially look at Abu Dhabi with a second property because we think the market is a very promising market in the long term," he said.
Duchauffour also told the newspaper that the hotel chain is actively looking for hotels to operate in Jeddah and Beirut, with Jordan a third possible location.
