Banyan Tree Bangkok has reported a 15% increase in Middle East visitors this year compared the same period in 2010.
According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, visitors to the country are expected to increase by 8% in 2011 compared to last year, with continued growth from the Middle East market.
“We are continually innovating so as to offer new products and experiences that better cater to our guests’ specific needs,” said Sriram Kailasam, general manager, Banyan Tree Bangkok.
This year, the hotel received a “certified Halal kitchen offering” as a Muslim-friendly menu for Middle Eastern guests.
