Five procurement experts vie for Hotelier Award

This year's top five nominees for the Procurement Person of the Year 2011, sponsored by Hertz, have been unveiled.

They wil compete for the coveted trophy at the Hotelier Middle East Awards, to be held at the Madinat Jumeirah Dubai on October 19.

Our nominees are charged with a difficult task on a daily basis: making sure that they get the best prices from suppliers, keeping their respective hotels well supplied with produce and materials, and ensuring that everything runs like clockwork. It's a challenging, often thankless role, and truly worthy of recognition.
