Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman and Ramada Downtown Dubai have revealed their plans for World Travel Market, being held from November 7 to 10 in London.

Top management from Ramada in the UAE will be representing the brand at the event, with the delegation headed by Iftikhar Hamdani, general manager, Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman.

“The World Travel Market is a must-attend travel exhibition for us,” said Hamdani. “We are visiting this year to inform our partners that Ramada Ajman is now ready to host big MICE events. Our Majestic Ballroom can accommodate up to 1000 guests and we have the biggest room inventory in the northern emirates making us the ideal venue for large group business meetings.”

Wael El Behi, executive assistant manager, Ramada Downtown Dubai, said his priority would be to highlight the hotel’s key features — including its location in the vicinity of Burj Khalifa — and reconnect with travel trade partners.

“We are going to WTM this year as visitors to meet with our partners, finalise contracts and get updated with the latest trends in travel industry,” explained El Behi. “We will be meeting tour operators to offer them our product, our facilities and our flexible rates.”

Hamdani added that the group’s focus going forward would be to attract more Chinese and Indian guests to Ramada properties.

“We are hoping that China and India will start travelling more to the UAE and we are hoping to target these markets too,” he said.
