The Westin Abu Dhabi will owned by Tourism Development Investment Company (TDIC) will open in the capital on November 1.
The 172-room hotel located at Abu Dhabi Golf Club comprises premium guest rooms, executive suites and the Presidential Suite, all overlooking the course, managed by Troon Golf.
“The hotel is positioned to provide a city escape for urbanites, a tranquil retreat for golf enthusiasts, as well as a meeting point for travellers seeking wellness and relaxation,” Klaus Niefer, general manager of the Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa said.
TheWestin Abu Dhabi has been designed by Northpoint up to the concept stage, and later developed by GREC Architects. The building is an allusion to the existing Abu Dhabi Golf Club clubhouse, and has a warm and neutral design throughout its interior, according to Niefer.
“I would like to call my hotel an ‘Urban Oasis’; and it is indeed an oasis strategically located at the heart of the new Abu Dhabi, bringing very unique design features based on natural elements and showcasing the Westin style,” he told Hotelier Middle East.
