UAE fast-food firm Al Farooj expands into Kuwait

Local fast food concern Al Farooj Chicken has opened its first store in Kuwait in Al Salmyia.

Three new branches in the UAE in Dubai, Sharjah and Al Ain have opened as well, taking the total number of stores to 32 across the region.

Reda Diab, general manager of the Al Farooj chain of restaurants and present at the inauguration of the Kuwait store, commented: "The first branch in Al Salmyia, Kuwait City is a testament to Al Farooj’s ROI based food franchise with low investment and lucrative refranchising option.

"Our in-house study revealed that the ‘Al Farooj’ brand franchise is becoming increasingly attractive due to its cost effectiveness and flexible terms and conditions.”

The company has further plans to open another three stores in Dubai in Deira City Centre and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
