Turkish hotel collapses after second earthquake

A 5.6-magnitude earthquake  in Eastern Turkey killed at least three people and trapped others under collapsed buildings, including the Bayram Hotel.

The earthquake which struck yesterday (November 9) is the second to hit the region in 17 days, last month a 7.2-magnitude earthquake caused the death of more than 600 people. 

According to media reports, around 20 buildings collapsed in the latest disaster, including the six-storey Bayram Hotel in the city of Van, where aid workers and journalists were staying.
