Hilton Al Ain has reopened its Hiltonia Recreation Gym following a full refurbishment, marking the first phase of a US $10 million renovation underway at the 40-year-old hotel.
General manager Adham El Sebaey said: “The gym extension is only one part of an overall master plan that will see Hilton Al Ain undergo a massive re-development in the coming months.
“It was very important to us to carry out the extension and renovation of the gym as quickly as possible as we have more than 1400 members and a lot of hotel guests who use it on a daily basis.”
The renovated gym features new flooring from Pavi, new equipment from Precor and new AV and air conditioning systems as well as the addition of an aerobics studio and squash court.
El Sebaey commented: “Our Hiltonia club is more than just a gym, it’s a social hub for the city of Al Ain, where like minded people can meet and enjoy the many benefits that our membership has to offer.
“It was very important to us to maintain our position within the local market as the leading health club in the city. Being the first choice recreational facility in town requires to have a state of the art product and the most advanced technological set up to exceed the needs and expectations of our guests and members alike,” he explained.
