Upmarket London cafe set to make Oman debut

An upmarket cafe chain which operates in the poshest parts of London is to launch in Oman under a new franchise agreement and has the UAE in its sights.


Richoux of London, the 100 year old cafe and all-day dining concept, has announced its latest expansion in the Middle East.


The new Muscat-based franchisee is Amlaak Al Qurm and their first Richoux location will be in the recently opened Royal Opera House Mall.


Due to its high profile locations in central London including Mayfair and Knightsbridge, Richoux enjoys a strong customer following in the Middle East.

 

It already has franchise operations in Qatar and Egypt, it said in a statement.


The UAE is the next area to be targeted and Richoux is inviting interest from potential partner groups in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, it added.


Richoux restaurants in London are centrally located in areas such as Mayfair and Knightsbridge near iconic retailers such as Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Fortnum & Mason.
