Restaurants across the region are celebrating the year of the dragon with special menus. Here's our pick of the best.

The China Club, Radisson Blu Hotel Deira Creek, Dubai
Tailored by Chinese master chef, Fu, this special festive menu features authentic dishes such as deep-fried crumbed prawns, tossed celery with black fungus, stir-fried lobster with spring onion and ginger, steamed black cod with supreme soya and spring onions, red bean and new year dumpling with deep fried ice cream.
Price: AED 188 (US $51) per person.

Spice, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza
To celebrate the year of the dragon, Spice will present an eight-course menu that includes signature dishes such as abalone, black chicken and other tempting Cantonese specialties. The team includes a number of talented chefs from Asia who are trained in authentic cuisine from the region.

Shanghai Chic, Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai
Treat yourself to a luxury six-course meal from a special, innovative menu including dishes such as chilled Chinese herbal jelly cake with dried chicken floss, steamed abalone and scallop dumpling, steamed Chilean sea bass with Chinese herbs, golden braised seafood broths with vegetarian shark fins and fresh crab meat.
