Dubai's Legends steakhouse gets makeover

The Legends restaurant at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has had a complete makeover with elements of the venue – food, design and layout – modernised.

“With such an enviable setting overlooking the historic Dubai Creek, our mission in reinventing Legends was to ensure that the highest quality food is served with sumptuous, comfortable and sleek interior design to make certain our guests enjoy the ultimate premier steakhouse experience, and to place the venue firmly on the city’s culinary scene,” said Mustafa Al Hashimi, club manager, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

For starters guests can select from a choice of mini appetisers including tempura shrimp, quail scotch eggs, lobster kibbeh or roasted foie gras dates. The classic appetiser collection features favourites such as traditional French onion soup, seafood chowder and organic beef carpaccio.

The main dishes feature the best meat selected from the Australian Agricultural Company Limited’s (AAco) award-winning flagship Wagyu brand, Master Kobe and 1824. Dishes that are prepared at the table include the carvery Chateaubriand, flambé Tenderloin and the seared surf and turf which features Wagyu beef, lobster and coral cream.

There is also a wide range of select tenderloin and rib-eye beef including Angus, organic grass-fed and Wagyu, and specials such as the tomahawk beef chop, Legends burger with foie gras, and beef cheek pie.

The wide range of beef available will be complemented by additional specials from the butchery block including Australian lamb, duck breast with vanilla lime mash, and calves liver. From the sea, guests can feast on Scottish organic salmon, sea bass or rock lobster thermidor.

The dessert selection features a range of dishes created using chocolate from fine cocoa experts Valrhona and include toffee banana tart with warm tanariva chocolate sauce, Alpaco chocolate fondant, pear and Guanaja chocolate spring roll and Choc Express featuring iced coffee,
