Following the success of the Dusit International Eat Well, Feel Well in Asia in 2011, Daniel Green, healthy-eating expert and internationally-renowned television celebrity chef and author, will launch a healthy-eating campaign in Dubai at the Dusit Thani.
Green will visit the UAE for the first time from February 5-9, 2012 bringing with him a selection of healthy, low-calorie recipes from a wide range of cuisines from breakfast to appetisers, soups, main dishes and desserts. The dishes will help to balance an individual’s nutritious diet and introduce guests to great-tasting healthy dining-out options.
James Wilson, general manager Dusit Thani Dubai said: "We are delighted to welcome Daniel Green to Dubai to launch the Dusit International Eat Well, Feel Well healthy eating programme in the Middle East. With an extremely high incidence of early onset diabetes in the region, and a culture that encourages dining out, Dusit Thani Dubai is delighted to be introducing exciting new dishes in a restaurant setting that are as healthy as they are tasty.
"Collaborating with a world-famous chef such as Daniel Green confirms the hotel group’s dedication to catering to differing tastes and palates of hotel guests without sacrificing quality and taste.
"We have taken the decision to open up access to Daniel Green by scheduling a gala dinner during his visit – open to anyone who would like to attend. He is witty, intelligent, and a great inspiration and we look forward to welcoming many Dubai residents to join us for this entertaining evening event."
While in Dubai, Daniel Green will be meeting with media, hosting live cooking classes with Dusit International media partner BBC Good Food Middle East and cooking at home for one lucky Dusit Thani Dubai Facebook competition winner and their invited guests.
The gala dinner, hosted by Dusit Thani Dubai in co-operation with Dusit Residence Dubai Marina will take place on Wednesday February 8, with Green as guest speaker presenting his ‘Eat Well, Fell Well’ philosophy and tips about combining healthy eating with a healthy lifestyle.
