Golden Tulip signs deal for Algeria hotel

Golden Tulip Suites Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement  with Ramdani to open the new hotel in Skikda, Algeria at the end of 2012.

The five-star Golden Tulip Arc En Ciel Skikda will have 241 rooms with direct access to the beach, as well as three restaurants, including the area’s first on a roof-top.

Alain Sebah, the COO of Louvre Hotels International, which owns Golden Tulip Suites Hotels and Resorts, said: “We welcome this great opportunity of adding Algeria to our worldwide portfolio. With this step we confirm our target of growth in the Middle East and North Africa and we strengthen our presence.”

Amine E. Moukarzel, senior vice president of Golden Tulip MENA region, said: “We rely on a strategic partnership to achieve a glorious future for all parties for product development and we express our intentions to grow in the country and promote ALGERIA as destination, we are aiming to operate in the next three years around eight hotels in different areas of Algeria like Oran and Constantine to name but few."
