A.Ronai launches host of new products at Gulfood

Louise Oakley, February 20th, 2012

A.Ronai is showcasing a wide selection of new tableware, glassware and uniform lines at Gulfood 2012 in Dubai this week.

The products are being shown at Gulfood for the first time in Middle East and Africa, with their global launch just a week ago in Frankfurt.

There are several new lines from tableware specialist Steelite, including a white China range called Optik, a modern black range called Koto and a rustic, pottery inspired line called Craft, available in a variety of subtle colours and finished with a glaze that explodes in the kiln, creating a unique design on every item.

Bilbao is a new line within the Symbol range, a white bone china collection that signifies the re-emergence of luxury, according to Steelite vice president Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific Stuart Wilkinson.

A.Ronai is presenting another new tableware range from Elite Global Solutions, made from melamime. The funky pieces look like china, but are hard wearing and suitable for use by the pool or beach, enabling hotels to equip themed outdoor beach bars and restaurants, suggested A.Ronai managing director Gavin Dodd.

New glassware solutions include a range of stem-less wine glasses from Glass & Co. and the limited collection Minners Classic Cocktail from Steelite.

A.Ronai is also showcasing its new chef uniform designs, which range from the “bargain” chef’s jacket starting at just AED 60 to a create-your-own collection of coloured chef uniforms.

Hotels and restaurants can choose from a palette of 48 colours, which can be combined in a combination of three colours — particularly suitable for chefs working in show kitchens, buffet restaurants and themed venues.
