Bin Majid Group opens Mangrove Hotel in RAK

Mangrove Hotel has opened on Al Qassimi Cornich in Ras Al Khaimah, with 30 rooms, 90 suites, 60 executive suites and six presidential suites.

Operated by Bin Majid Group’s Hospitality Division, the hotel expects to reach 45 -50% occupancy levels by the end of the year.

Hardeep Negi, director of operations for Bin Majid Beach Hotel and Mangrove Hotel, said: “We are living in an emirate that favours development of the hotel industry driven positively by Ras Al Khaimah’s good infrastructural and economic condition, thus enhancing the confidence of investors. Therefore, we are extremely happy to offer our guests an elegant new destination with 186 keys.

“It is the only property in the emirate that boasts of mangrove and sea views from its rooms. To stay ahead of competition we intend to offer innovative products and then position Mangrove well,” he added.

The hotel will feature a Chinese restaurant, gym, business facilities and outdoor coffee shop. It is currently offering a special deal of AED 399 (US $108) for bed and breakfast.
