Italian chef joins kitchen at JW Marriott Dubai

JW Marriott Hotel Dubai’s Cucina restaurant has welcomed its new Italian chef de cuisine, Francesco Antonino Bucca.

The chef was born in Sicily and specialises in traditional Italian, family recipes, which he will share with the restaurant.

Kevin Wills, director of food and beverage operations, said: “Cucina is more of a standalone restaurant than a hotel outlet and Chef Francesco will be running the operation as a proprietor would in his own family business.”

He added: “The restaurant received the Certification of Hospitality from the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UAE in 2010, and with his experience he will certainly treat our guests to a slice of the best Italy has to offer.”
