Rixos opens its first MidEast hotel on Palm Dubai

Rixos The Palm has officially opened, with 233 rooms and 28 residences set along three private beaches.

The hotel is spread over a 10-acre area, with only 30% of this being built on. The property also includes various outdoor dining and bar outlets, as well as shisha lounges and an events area.

Room options include 84 deluxe rooms at 53m² and 101 premium rooms at 65m², as well as six wellness rooms, each offering a balcony with views of the Gulf Sea.

Basak Erel, senior vice president of brand management, said: “Offering traditional Turkish specialities, Rixos The Palm will bring a fresh breath of air to Dubai. It will offer sun, sea and sand lovers a few alternatives.”

She added: “It really is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous surroundings. There are so many things to do, and so many places to relax, there is something for everyone.”

The hotel features two restaurants – A La Turca, offering traditional Turkish cuisine as well as international dishes and Chef’s, combining influences from both European and Asian cuisine. Both will feature private dining rooms, called Gold & Silver.

There is also a shisha bar, Nargile, as well as a pool bar, beach lounge and spa, which includes a Turkish bath and meditation lounge.
