JW Marriott Hotel Dubai has appointed Bhavesh Rawal as its new executive chef, to oversee the property’s nine dining venues.

The chef has more than 15 years’ experience in kitchens, having worked in five-star hotels in Dubai, including Burj Al Arab and Grand Hyatt Dubai, as well as Park Hyatt in Toronto. He moves from Madinat Jumeirah to his new position, where he will also be responsible for outside catering, banqueting and in-room dining.

Rawal said: “To be part of JW Marriott Hotel Dubai is such a prestige as I am proudly supported by a great team of dedicated chefs who are passionate about quality and taste.”

Kevin Wills, director of food and beverage operations, added: “With our diverse, authentic and award winning venues, we feel Chef Bhavesh, with his wealth of experience, market knowledge and personal philosophy, will be a great fit for us and even a greater benefit to our guests.”
