Up to 600 staff will be recruited for the opening of the new Rosewood Abu Dhabi hotel, set to welcome in guests in Q4, 2012.
One hundred staff are already in place, with the interview process for a further 500 under way.
The 189-key hotel with 137 serviced apartments will not have a soft opening, with managers preferring to launch straight into full service.
Luigi Romaniello, managing director, said: "The hotel is due to open at the end of 2012, and we are pretty confident it will.
"All the staff will have had full training by then - we don’t believe in a soft opening, we believe that once we open the doors, we are there, offering full service."
The 34-storey tower will also offer a spa with nine treatment rooms, eight restaurants, and a ballroom to seat 650, as well as an iPad in each room, from which you can control all electrics: the television, curtains and lights.
Guests will also be able to browse room service menus and see images of the dishes.
Romaniello commented: "Abu Dhabi is a modern city, a business centre, and so we want to do our best, to be fresh.
"You know sometimes you struggle with the remote control, and you don’t know which channel is which, well with the iPad you can see all the channel icons, so when you want to see the history channel, you just push the icon and it changes. It’s really easy to use."
The hotel is situated on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi’s new Central Business District, between Sowwah Square and the Cleveland Clinic, and will be the brand's fourth hotel in the Middle East.
