Emirates to hold two recruitment days in Egypt

May 23rd, 2012

For the second time this year, Emirates Airline is hosting two cabin crew recruitment days on June 9 in Alexandria and on June 25 in Cairo.

"The amazing turnout of over 700 hopeful candidates earlier in March this year encouraged us to host two more recruitment days in Alexandria and Cairo in order to attract additional Egyptian talent," said Saeed Khalifa Bin Sulaiman, Emirates manager in Egypt.

"Egypt has one of the largest multi-lingual talent pools among Arabic speaking countries, with a workforce of 23.8 million, 49% of which work for the services sectors. We are very much excited and looking forward to tapping further into this talent and growing our Egyptian employee base."

The Emirates recruitment team will be looking for “innovative forward-thinkers, travel-hungry explorers who tirelessly exceed customer expectations” across 123 destinations in 73 countries, added Sulaiman.

Emirates receives approximately 11,000 cabin crew applications every month. Globally, the airline employs nearly 1300 Egyptian nationals in a variety of roles across the Emirates Group, including more than 500 cabin crew.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old at the time of possible recruitment and are requested to bring an updated curriculum vitae (CV) in English, and a photograph to the open day.
