Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach Resort to open in 2014

Four Seasons has signed a deal with Dubai-based Bright Start to launch its first hotel in Dubai located on Jumeirah Beach Road.

The 237-key Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach Resort is expected to open in mid-2014, the Canada-based operator announced today (June 20).

Bright Start is developing the new resort property and has appointed H&H Investment and Development as the development manager.

The property will be situated on a 11-acre (4.45 hectare) natural waterfront site along the Arabian Gulf. It has been designed by world renowned architect WATG, with interior design by San Fransisco based BAMO.

According to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts president and CEO, the resort will attract a mix of leisure and business guests, as well as incentive groups.

Located at the northern end of Jumeirah Beach Road, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach will offer exclusive access to a 270m stretch of of beach.

The 237 keys include 49 suites. There will be tthree restaurants, as well as poolside dining. The function spaces which have beachfront access will include a 600 sq m (6458 square foot) ballroom and five meeting rooms. In keeping with its resort positioning, the property will also be home to a world class-spa, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and private beach club.


Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach will be the Toronto-based company’s latest addition to its development pipeline in the GCC, which includes the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi Sowwah, Four Seasons Resort Oman, Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, Four Seasons Hotel Doha at The Pearl and Four Seasons Hotel Jeddah.
