TWG Tea launches Oud Night exclusively for Ramadan

TWG Tea is marking the Holy Month of Ramadan with a Middle East exclusive launch of a new blend of tea called the Oud Night Tea.

The tea, containing Oud or ‘fragrance of paradise’, will be available to purchase at The Dubai Mall - the group’s only outlet in the region - and is said to be the perfect accompaniment to an evening Iftar or late Suhoor.

Inspired by the ancient trading of Oud along the incense route of antiquity, stretching from Mediterranean ports through Arabia to India and beyond, the tightly rolled black tea leaves of Oud Night Tea are scattered with gum Arabic.

TWG Tea recommends that 2.5 grams of Oud Night Tea should be infused for two-three minutes at 95°C for the best taste.

The group, which recently celebrated the launch of its first Middle East outlet in the form of a 1600 sq. ft salon and boutique at the Dubai Mall, has also launched the Oud Night Tea Scented Candle, with hints of resin, cedar and tea flowers to complement the tea.
