James Clarey, July 15th, 2012

Four Seasons Beirut concierge Nour Kanaan from has been welcomed to the prestigious Clefs d’Or Middle East society as both the youngest member, as well as the first female to join from Lebanon.

Kanaan joined the 230-room hotel as part of the pre-opening team in 2009, and is now concierge supervisor. She has lived in the city for the last 24 years and has built up an in-depth knowledge of the capital.

Stefan Simkovics, general manager, Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, said: “It's a real testimony to Nour's efforts to see her join this highly respected global fraternity of leading concierges this early in her career and it proves that she really has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our guests experience the best the city has to offer.”

Les Clefs d’Or was originally formed in France in 19290 to recognise the best concierges in the industry and now boasts many regional groups all over the world.
