Jumeirah's popular Dubai bar and club 360o is set to officially open on 11 October and will remain open throughout the year.
In an exclusive interview with Caterer Middle East, Andrea Zampolini, assistant food and beverage manager at Jumeirah Beach Hotel explained that outside of the summer months the club is swamped with customers. The Jumeirah team felt it was important to capitalise on that and the re-opening will see the club run across two floors which will result in the closure of the Marina seafood restaurant.
“Marina restaurant was one of the best seafood restaurants in Dubai when they opened, a few years later we had a lot of competition in Dubai. The problem with the restaurant is the logistics. It’s far away-you needed a buggy to go there. During the winter season it is fine, but during the summer people really didn’t want to go there for dinner with the heat... the business was doing ok but not like it was before,” explained Zampolini.
The closure will see the 360o lounge open up where the restaurant previously sat, meaning people can now enjoy the 360o experience all year round, where it would previously close throughout summer.
“Now we’re going to have two floors open all year,” said Zampolii. “If it is too hot, people move down, if it is nice people move up. And there will be two different music concepts at the same time. It’s going to be fantastic.”
The soft opening of the venue will take place on 14 September, with a press event on October 10 before the official opening on October 11.
