10 things you didn't know about Jumeirah Creekside

Jumeirah Creekside, the 292-room luxury hotel, opened its doors to guests on July 1st after much fanfare and anticipation.

Jumeirah Group’s ninth hotel in Dubai, it is located in the heart of ‘old Dubai’, close to the sports and leisure facility The Aviation Club, and is minutes from the airport.

Here’s ten things you didn’t know about the new opening:

1. Jumeirah Creekside Hotel features more than 480 unique artwork pieces from 52 artists originating from 11 countries in the Middle East.

2. Jumeirah Creekside Hotel has a rooftop swimming pool that cantilevers into the lobby with a glass floor.

3. Cu-ba, the Cuban themed rooftop bar and lounge has refrigerated floors so you won’t burn your feet while relaxing by the pool!

4. The unique red sofas in the lobby are designed by world renowned architect Zaha Hadid and are the only ones displayed in a public space.

5. Jumeirah Creekside Hotel has a triplex penthouse suite spread over three floors including a private rooftop terrace.



6. Jumeirah Creekside Hotel has solar panels on the roof that heat the water for the whole hotel.

7. The signature restaurant, Blue Flame, features a purpose built cooking pod in the middle of the restaurant offering daily cooking classes with the chef de cuisine.

8. Jumeirah Creekside Hotel offers 24 hour stay so you can check out at the time you checked in!

9. It took two days to install the ‘Flying Carpet’ art piece showcased in the lobby of the hotel. This piece weighs 1,500kgs.

10. Cu-ba bar has a homogenizer which can infuse any drink to any flavour in two minutes offering self-infused beverages.
