Wyndham Grand Regency Doha has reopened its popular Moroccan restaurant Tangia following a refurbishment.

Said to be one of Doha’s first Moroccan restaurants, Tangia is located in the hotel’s lobby area and offers a casual dining atmosphere set amid earthy coloured décor, accecorised with authentic Moroccan art.

"We have done our best in this restaurant to provide the authentic Moroccan ambiance and to possess the admiration of all citizens of all nationalities as we are keen to have a Moroccan piece featured in Doha. Each piece in the restaurant has been imported directly from Morocco,” commented the hotel’s general manager.

Tangia’s signature dishes feature well-known Marrakesh cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. Options include Lobster Harira, a traditional Moroccan soup with lobster, chickpeas, lentil, tomato, coriander and argon oil; Tangia, a Marrakesh lamb slowly cooked for six hours and served in a traditional Tangia clay pot; chocolate couscous fondant, served with a red berry coulis and roasted almond ice cream.
