Rezidor gets two new execs for Dubai properties
Rezidor has appointed Cornelia Erhardt as the new general manager at Radisson Royal Hotel Dubai and Rabih El Zyr as director of sales and marketing for Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Downtown.
Erhardt joins the property with nearly 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having first joined Rezidor as director of housekeeping at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel in 1978.
She first became a GM in 2005 at Radisson SAS Hotel in Klaipeda, Lithuania, before moving to Dubai two years later, when she became Rezidor’s first female GM in the Middle East at Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Marina. In 2009 Erhardt moved to Aqaba, Jordan, and in 2011 came back to the UAE, as GM at Radisson Blu Resort in Fujairah.

El Zyr is a Lebanese national with more than 10 years experience of working in the hospitality industry in the region. In 2003, he joined Rotana as assistant sales manager and a year later moved to Kempinski’s Julai’a Hotel & Resort in Kuwait as sales and marketing manager.
In 2011, El Zyr joined the Grand Excelsior Hotel in Kuwait as director of sales and marketing – a position he held until his move to Dubai for Rezidor.
Before starting his career, he had achieved a degree in hospitality management with the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland and is currently enrolled at Cornell University n the executive education programme in hotel, real estate and asset management.
