Moevenpick Makkah bags awards trio on anniversary

Movenpick Hotel Makkah has celebrated its third birthday and winning three awards.

The 1200-room property, which is located on Al Haram Court, facing the King Abdul Aziz Gate, has been awarded Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence, meaning it is within the top 10% of all properties listed on the site.

The second award won this year is the Check Safety First certification, which monitors the hotel’s compliance with Cristal HACCP food safety standards, as well as swimming pool safety and water safety.

Lastly, awarded before the hotel celebrated its third birthday this month, was the Green Globe Award for Sustainable Tourism, which is focussed on water and energy reductions.

The property features five F&B outlets, as well as a business centre and shopping mall, attracting both religious and business tourism.
