Marco Beverage Systems has opened a new office in Dubai as part of its expansion into new markets.
For the past three years the company has been supplying the Gulf region with beverage machine solutions.
Interest from India, Egypt and the rest of the MEA region has suggested there is significant demand for the company’s products. The new offices also include warehouse facilities, from where Marco will service its customers in the region.
In line with the new branch opening, Marco has appointed Gautam Kumbargeri Srinath as Middle East Sales Manager.
Barista champion Srinath will be responsible for managing Marco’s existing Middle Eastern accounts and to develop business across the Middle East, Egypt and India amongst distributors and wholesalers. He will also be responsible for managing Marco’s office and warehouse in the Middle East.
“Having a stockholding facility in the region will minimise delivery lead times and enable us to be much more responsive to our customers needs” says Srinath.
Marco’s new office will allow a more engaging approach to be taken to sales in this region as they look to exert more influence on the out-of-home beverage industry throughout the world.
Marco Beverage Systems is headquartered in Ireland, and has been designing and manufacturing hot-water delivery systems for brewing coffee and tea for more than 30 years.
The firm also has offices in the UK, the Netherlands and China.
