Fairmont opens its first hotel in the Philippines

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has opened Fairmont Makati hotel, marking the brand’s entry into the Philippines.

The property is located in the same tower as Raffles Makati, a 32-room, all-suite hotel, and Raffles Residences, featuring 237 one- to four-bedroom residences, both operated under parent company Fairmont Raffles Hotels International.

Situated in Makati city, in the centre of Manila’s central business district, Fairmont Makati hotel features seven F&B outlets including Spectrum all-day dining; Café Macaron; Lounge at Fairmont serving afternoon tea and Longs Bar, inspired by the renowned bar of the same name at Raffles Singapore Hotel.

Up to 1700 square meters (18,000 square feet) of function space including a 900 square metre ballroom, and a 1200 square meters (14,000 square feet) Willow Stream Spa, will be available.

The hotel joins the Fairmont’s growing portfolio of hotel’s within the Asia Pacific region, including the recently-opened Fairmont Jaipur in India and Shanghai’s Fairmont Peace Hotel.
