Hospitality Management Holdings (HMH) celebrated the 41st UAE National Day by soft launching The Ajman Palace hotel, in the UAE.
The ceremony for the opening of the group’s five-star hospitality property was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman.
The new property is located opposite the Ruler’s Palace on a private beach in Ajman, with a view of the Arabian Gulf. The hotel building was inspired by traditional Arabian architecture, blending contemporary design with Arabesque décor draped in brocade and gold accents. The hotel’s 254 rooms, suites, and serviced residences with either sea or city-facing views lie just beyond its archway entrance.
“It gives us great pleasure to declare The Ajman Palace open for business, in time to celebrate the 41st UAE National Day,” said MANAFA LLC chairman, HMH vice chairman, and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qassimi. “It is indeed a very special property, fabulously equipped with world-class business and leisure facilities and has been conceived to offer travelers an exceptional experience.”
The Ajman Palace is a flagship property for the HMH group and includes a 1200 square metre ballroom, the largest in the northern Emirates, as well as a conference hall, four meeting rooms, and a VIP function area.
The hotel also has two specialty restaurants, Arabesque Gourmet and Dragon’s Palace, in addition to an all-day dining outlet, café, terrace, and rooftop lounge.
“Wherever you are, whatever your taste, you can choose your favourites,” said Ajman Palace general manager Roland Obermeier. “Lebanese, Japanese, Thai, European and international dishes can be brought to any location. All that remains is the selection of venue – al fresco with sea views, in the refined atmosphere of our fusion Asian outlet, the opulence of the Arabic fine dining room or the relaxing rooftop shisha terrace.”
In addition, the hotel also offers leisure and recreational facilities such as a beach, pool, spa, gym, health club, food and gift shop, and on-site jeweller.
The Ajman Palace is the first major five-star hotel development in Ajman in the last decade.
