More than 200 food-service professionals, chefs, F&B managers, importers and retailers gathered at the Fairmont Bab al Bahr, Abu Dhabi, for the first French gastronomy event held by Sopexa on Monday November 26.

Held on the first day of SIAL Middle East in Abu Dhabi, the event was inspired by the Apéritif à la française which has been running for a decade in Dubai.

The event was organised by Sopexa, the international marketing agency for food, wine and lifestyle, with the support of the French ministry of sgriculture and the patronage of the ambassador of France to the UAE HE Alain Azouaou.

Azouaou encouraged French food and beverage brands, importers and distributors to showcase and promote their products towards other food professionals.
