Jumeirah Group welcomes new GM in Maldives

Jumeirah Group, the Dubai based global hospitality company, has appointed Graham Kiy as general manager of the five-star Jumeirah Vittaveli resort in the Maldives.

Kiy, a British national who is fluent in six languages, originally joined Jumeirah Group in August 2010 as the pre-opening hotel manager for Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Dubai.

Prior to this he gained extensive senior management experience in Asia with appointments in China, Singapore, Philippines, Bangkok, Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan.

Jumeirah Vittaveli, which celebrates its first year of operation on December 14, 2012, is located in the South Male Atoll of the Maldives – a twenty minute speedboat transfer from Male International Airport.

The resort comprises 89 villas and suites, each offering views of the Indian Ocean, along with three restaurants, a Talise Spa and dedicated activity clubs for younger children and teenagers.
