More than 50 delegates of Qatar’s top hotels and restaurants attended the first Chef's Table of the year held on January 28 at the Renaissance Doha City Centre Hotel.

Executive chefs, purchasing managers and hospitality experts were invited to sample the newest product line imported by Deliopolis, Argentinean Black Angus Beef from Frigorifico Rioplantense.

Jurgen Scharkosi, managing director of Deliopolis, who met with the owners personally to set up the supply chain, selected this company because of its"high-quality beef products".

“Here in the Gulf, Latin America is mainly known for exporting cheap beef of lower grade standards. By importing the products of Rioplatense we aim to show that there is high quality available in Latin America which is different in structure and second to none in taste,” said Scharkosi.

Rioplatense was established in 1974 by the Constantini family and has developed into one of Argentina’s strongest beef processing companies.
