UAE's Flydubai expands Pakistan network

Daniel Shane, February 12th, 2013

UAE low-cost carrier has expanded its network in Pakistan with the addition of routes to Multan and Sialkot.

Flights to Multan, located in the centre of the country, will start from March 14, while operations to Sialkot in the north-east will begin from March 13. Both routes will run three times a week.

"Our flights to Karachi have been busy since operations began in June 2010,” said CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith.

“With a significant number of expatriates living in the UAE, and established trade links, we expect these new destinations to be equally successful as people seek affordable fares between our nations," he added.

Since commencing services in summer 2009, flydubai has built up a network of more than 50 destinations across the Middle East, Africa and the Subcontinent. The carrier operates a fleet of 26 aircraft.
