Kofi Annan stays at Hilton Sharjah

Hilton Sharjah hosted Kofi Annan, former Secretary General of the United Nations, during his recent stay in the UAE.

Annan was visiting the emirate to attend the Government Communication Forum 2013 at Sharjah Expo Centre.

He was a guest of honour at the event which ‘aims to establish Sharjah as a cultural and media hub in the region and strengthen its media presence in accordance with Sharjah Media Centre’s strategies’.

The event was also attended by Amre Moussa, former Secretary-General of the Arab League and HE Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, UAE’s Minister of Foreign Trade.
