Golden Tulip launches mobile application

Louise Birchall, March 24th, 2013

Golden Tulip has launched a new mobile application for smartphones and iPads, available for download from Apple Store and Android Market.

The app provides full information on the group's 230 Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip and Royal Tulip hotels spanning 42 countries, and is available in English, Dutch, Brazilian, Portuguese, French and German.

Guests can use it to reserve a room, manage a reservation, or view current promotions. Hotel and restaurant information, photos, maps and navigation are also available.

The launch is part of the group's programme to enhance its customer-facing digital technology, through the launch of new platforms as well as improvements to existing portals.

"Golden Tulip’s digital strategy seeks to build closer ties with customers by closely addressing their expectations. This applies in particular to business customers who are active users of smartphones," the group said in a statement.

Later this year, the group plans to launch upgraded versions of its global website and regional portals.
